Louisa Amagoalik is well known in Mittimatalik and elsewhere for her skilled sewing and beautiful sealskin artistry and crafts.  She was trained by her mother, Mary Amagoalik, who is also a Collective member.  In 2016 Louisa  worked with MAMC, inviting camera-people Georgina Pewatoaluk and Nancy Wachowich into her busy household, and demonstrating how to make leather mittens and miniature sealskin kamik zipper-pulls.
