Jane Singoorie

Jane Singoorie joined MAMC in May of 2016. She and her husband, Eepah Ootoova worked together that spring, filming Jane’s first attempt at making sealskin kamiks. Coached by her female relatives, off-camera, Jane’s films show, in detail, the different stages of kamik production, as practiced by a learning apprentice.
